Gamma Knife In Cardinal Santos

Mudra health (from an essay by Arvind Joshi)

Our body is composed of five elements, which are:
Jal (water), Prithvi (ground), Akash (ether), Agni (fire) and
Vayu (air). Each finger of our hand is the 'power of one of these elements: the thumb is on fire Agni, Vayu the air is the index, middle, Akash is Ether, Prithvi is the ring finger and little finger Jal the earth 's water.
After years of study and extensive research I have observed that when the last phalanx of each finger is in contact with the distal phalanx of the thumb, the energy on that specific finger tends to increase. Similarly, when the tip of their finger is in contact with the base of the thumb, that energy tends to diminuire.Questa specific position of the fingers is called mudra. Some of these mudras are useful for our well-being and easier to treat certain chronic diseases.

1 Dnyan Mudra

First of all sit back and quietly then add the tip of the 'index with that of the thumb, keep the other three fingers stretched out effortlessly.
This mudra is used to obtain peace of mind, to overcome the anger quickly, to reduce stress and increase mental concentration. Practicing for 45 minutes without a break or at least 10-15 minutes 4 or 5 times a day with both hands.
For students and practitioners of meditation is very helpful. If prior to the meditation you focus on the tip of the thumb and forefinger, meditation can be achieved more quickly. People suffering from insomnia can use this mudra to promote sleep.

In this mudra is called Bharatanatyam dance Hamsasya and Viniyoga or different uses including, in addition to meditation, also put the ornaments, as anklets, earrings and necklace, called mangalsutra, a symbol of marriage. Or run with one hand near his mouth, indicating a suggestion, whispered to a verbal message, a revelation.

In Yoga this gesture is called the Chin or Jnana Mudra, the symbol of knowledge. The three extended fingers represent the three principles of deadly 'man: the physical body, energy and mind. The 'index' s individual soul or Atman, the thumb 's Universal Soul or Paramatma. The 'union' s index of thumb is to represent the liberation, mukti, the yogi in samadhi.
